On Monday 31st July, St George Library celebrated the success of ALIA’s copyright law reform campaign. In 2015, “FAIR followers right across Australia took up the challenge of cooking for copyright, helping to raise awareness of our muddled copyright law and supporting our lobbying for immediate reform.”
On the 15 June 2017, “The Copyright Amendment (Disability Access and Other Measures) Bill was passed in Parliament and it includes a number of important and overdue amendments that will dramatically free up how Australians can access and use copyright material.”
Participants had to answer a short quiz about copyright before choosing from the plates of yummy treats to eat.
